Dear Wai K

I attended a coaching session organised by the IMU on 10 and 11th November 2010. I must tell you that it is the best workshop I have attended in the last 5 years. I have a demanding job at work and therefore am very selective of training programmes I attend. I tend to choose training that will benefit me the most as I need to invest my precious time. At times after attending training, I cannot say that there were beneficial to me, but these 2 days has been the most worthwhile investment I have made, and I wished that it could have gone on for another day! The benefits to me were :
1. Coaching for performance is for bring out the true potential of an individual and also for the individual's development
2. Truly see the value of coaching to enrich lives
3. Using the other three methods as a combination
4. Understood the need to develop the skills for coaching
5. understood the importance of listening, positive feedback and focus on character/value
I would be most interested to take this coaching to next level, before that I need to practice coaching with internal team.
